"Lucky Seven" to be back as drama SP next spring

FujiTV drama "Lucky Seven" will be back as a drama SP next spring after it finished its run in March this year. The drama SP will still feature the original cast of Matsumoto Jun, Eita, Matsushima Nanako, Ooizumi Yo and Naka Riisa etc and have new additions including Ishihara Satomi and Oikawa Mitsuhiro. Filming for the SP began on 13 October.

This time, the Lucky Seven has to deal with the mastermind behind a financial crime who also happens to be a genius economist (Oikawa) and his charming secretary (Ishihara). Matsumoto's character is set to fall for Ishihara's character as he gets close to her in an attempt to solve the case. This drama SP also happens to be the first time in 10 years the two of them are acting alongside each other since Matsumoto and Ishihara last appeared together in the TBS drama "Kimi wa Petto" back in 2003.
